At last count, there were 2.38B Christians in the world, or about 1/3 the world’s population.
It is these people I address.
The world is absorbed and perhaps holding its collective breath over recent events in Europe, in which Russia has invaded Ukraine.
One factor (perhaps the pre-eminent one) guiding the USA and the other 29 countries of NATO is the risk of the use of nuclear weapons by Russia.
The West does not want to become entangled in a war between the USA and Russia, or between NATO and Russia, and does not want to instigate WWIII.
That is the reason given for not acceding to Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky’s plea for a ‘no-fly’ zone in the skies over Ukraine and for not sending jet aircraft to Ukraine from NATO countries.
Upon initial examination, this seems not unreasonable.
Vladimir Putin, leader of Russia, has put his nuclear weapon department on high alert, whatever that means.
He had made thinly veiled allusions to using nuclear weapons.
Western hearers do not know what to believe.
