Why I Am Bullish on America

Some historians have pointed out few modern civilizations have survived more than 500 years.

If one takes the inception of the USA as 1776, the year of the execution of the Declaration of Independence, we have may a few years to go.

Over 6 years ago, reasons were given to be bullish on America.

See here:

Perhaps of equal if not greater importance, one of the finest investors of our time, Warren Buffett, has the same mentality, and it has served him well.

Although he is closer to the end of a storied career than the beginning, he is still investing — and still bullish on the USA.

One may not agree with his dietary habits (junk food, McDonald’s fare, sugary drinks, including perhaps 5 Cokes/day).

In fact, I suspect few nutritionists do.

It is hard, however, to argue with the investing success those habits have fueled.

In “The Art of War,” Chinese writer and tactician Sun Tzu advised: “Know thy enemy.”
