I write this to no one in particular — but everyone in general.
To anyone who will read it.
The poor (many), rich (few) and everyone in between (most of the rest of us).
I believe its message is urgent.
How urgent we may only know in retrospect.
It concerns the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin, the Russian leader, has termed it a ‘special military operation,’ but most of us know better.
We know it for what it is.
As time has unfolded, it has become increasingly evident the worst of what some of us thought about Russia is true.
The leadership has no shame.
Or morals.
They play by their own rules.
The ones they have made up.
They kill civilians without compunction.
Target hospital, schools and places of public transportation populated not by the military but by civilians.
Mass graves have been uncovered.
Of civilians with hands tied behind their back.
Women who have been raped, then killed.
Russians are reported to be transporting mobile crematoria to mask their nefarious…
