What is wrong with this?
An art collector is entitled to spend his/her money on anything he/she so desires. There’s no law against giving money away.
But what about burning it?
The fact that a bunch of bananas can be bought for 0.49–0.69/lb. and a roll of duct tape for around $5 is, I suppose, immaterial.
The angle at which the banana is taped may make all the difference.
Never mind that, with time, the banana is going to turn brown and will have to be replaced. The strip of duct tape will last longer, but it, too, will eventually give way. As I…
