(It is acknowledged that, while this may not be the way it will transpire, it might, based on the last part of Matthew 25 in Holy Writ).

At the Judgment, the Almighty (or His Son; tripartite yet indivisible) cannot be seen but He can be heard (for no man can look on the face of God and live). Like the wizard of Oz, He dwells somewhere offstage. Unlike the wizard, he is not a wizened, puny little old man hiding behind a curtain.

Or maybe, as He was once incarnated, He can be seen. Only not as a once humble carpenter, nondescript and wearing worn sandals, but as King of the Universe, crown upon head, sickle in hand, with almost unbearable lightness of being.

The innumerable multitude, stretching beyond visibility, is gathered before Him in two groups: those to His right (as with sheep) and those to His left (as with goats). You might think there would not be room for all of them, but there is.

There is clear demarcation between the two groups, like a line in the sand. This line is crimson, and cannot be crossed. Some humans try, without success. As if under the influence of a huge magnet, they are instantly returned by invisible force to the side to which they were originally assigned. The destiny of the two groups is not in question.

Those to His right can look on Him with ease. As with one side of Abraham Lincoln…
