There are certain trips that are memorable.

Some are once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Some are both.

It is true you cannot step in the same stream twice.

Either the stream — or you — is/are different the second time.

Similarly, as writer Tom Wolfe (the first) said, you cannot go home again.
