During these troubled times, our Dear Leader has been spending more time, if anything, engaged in a favorite activity: golf.
Some of us who miss his governance have wondered what the attraction is, why he spends so much time away from Washington.
We are more inclined to be forgiving if we know he is doing something worthwhile, even if it does not benefit the nation directly.
The curtain is drawn and lo, we are about to be enlightened.
He has been brushing up on his Shakespeare.
In addition to other virtues and talents, he is a wanna-be actor.
Perhaps he is thinking of his post-Presidential future.
He may be wanting to re-invent himself.
POTUS (as he addresses the ball, about to drive):
“To concede or not to concede; that is the question.”
(Assumes a Hamlet-like thoughtful pose, but only for a moment).
(Swings; drive not what he wanted; moves ball anyway — carries it, drops it on fairway).
Says to caddie, a nice looking young white man with slicked back hair, “You didn’t see that.”
(Caddie nods in assent, holds scorecard):
