I do not know if Edward Snowden will read this.
I have no vested interest in his plight, but am sympathetic to his position and have written in support of a pardon by the current POTUS.

No pardon has been issued. I do not know if Donald Trump examined the situation of Edward Snowden. He may have been preoccupied with other matters or, having examined Snowden’s case, decided against pardon.
Snowden sought pardon before, and was turned down by Barack Obama, Trump’s predecessor. If anyone might have issued a Presidential pardon, it might have been Obama. Whether his decision was politically motivated we may never know.
Obama once opined (in 2010 to ABC’s Diane Sawyer) he “would rather be a really good one-term President than a mediocre two-term one.”
As it turned out, despite efforts by people such as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Obama did serve two terms as POTUS.
But he didn’t pardon Snowden.
