Do the Right Thing
“Do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest.”
- Mark Twain (1835–1910), American writer, humorist
In 1989, auteur Spike Lee released his movie, “Do the Right Thing.” It spoke then to a nation in turmoil, which the USA qualifies as now, what with two seminal events, COVID-19 (a pandemic of global proportions), and racial unrest over police brutality. The acclaimed film has only grown in stature with the passage of time.
On a broader level, it speaks to the human condition.
