I wish to give a shout out for my insurance company.
In our times, when corporate avarice is almost a cliché, and some companies are justifiably being called to account, and bad news sells better than good, when a company does something virtuous, I think it proper to call attention.
I had heard that some automobile insurers might be providing credit to customers since, in this age of COVID-19, most people in general are driving less. Their risk is thus less and it is logical that claims would be less and insurers would be paying out less. But I had not personally seen evidence of this.
Until now.

This announcement also details other ways USAA is trying to help members.
To my knowledge, USAA did this on their own, not because of regulatory coercion or any sense of guilt for wrongdoing.
