I don’t know if Mr. Musk will read this.
Perhaps he will.
We probably think differently.
That may be why he is the world’s richest man, worth $273B and change, and I, past normal retirement age in the USA, am still working.
Plus he’s younger and stronger.
And maybe better looking.
But I can do even less about that.
But I think my heart is in the right place.
His may be, too, but those places may be different.
Maybe we can align them a bit.
Having acquired, over time, over 9% of Twitter’s 800 million shares, he recently made an offer to buy all of Twitter for some $43B.
A purported champion of free speech, he wants to take the company private, where his goals might be more easily achieved.
This was an audacious, perhaps predatory move.
The latest news was Twitter’s board had rebuffed Musk.
